Who We Are

Unnati Balgram is a grassroots nonprofit working to uplift underprivileged children and communities across India.
We believe that every child deserves a safe home, quality education, clean water, and a green future.

Since our inception, we have:
Rehabilitated children rescued from child labor
Set up shelter homes for long-term care and education
Built toilets, classrooms, and clean water systems in rural schools
Planted thousands of trees with community and corporate partnerships

We focus on sustainable, long-term impact — empowering children, building capacity of educators, and nurturing the environment with the help of people like you.

From Child Laboure to a Steady Job

At just 14, he was working as a daily wage labourer. Today, he confidently handles customer calls at a Pune call center. With care, education, and mentorship at Unnati Balgram, his life took a new direction.

From Hotel Helper to Photographer

Once serving food and washing dishes at a roadside hotel, today he captures life behind the lens. With encouragement and training, he’s now a budding photographer building his dream career.

What We Do

We Provide Shelter

We run a loving, long-term shelter home for children rescued from child labor.

Through our School Infrastructure Program, we build toilets, classrooms, clean water systems, and playgrounds for children in remote villages — ensuring dignity and safety.

With help from partners like NSG, CRPF & corporates, we’ve planted over 10,000 trees across India.
Our mission: create green lungs and restore biodiversity.
